What we enforce, what we cannot, and what to do.

What the site does

• Nobody messages you out of nowhere

  A conversation only exists after an interest has been accepted. Until then there is no way to reach you, and on a managed profile it is the Wali who accepts.

• Your photographs are yours to give

  They stay hidden until you share them, person by person, and you can stop sharing at any time. Nobody can pay to see them — there is no plan that unlocks a person.

• Verified means one narrow thing

  A live selfie matched the photograph on that profile. It does NOT mean the person is decent, unmarried, or telling the truth about anything else. Treat it as identity, not character.

• Block and report are one tap, and permanent

  Blocking removes you from each other entirely. A report reaches a moderator who has to record what they decided and why. You never have to explain yourself to the other person.

What we cannot do

We cannot check whether somebody is telling the truth about their job, their family or their intentions. We do not read your conversations. We cannot follow you off this site. Everything below is the part that is yours, and it matters more than anything above it.

• Involve your family early. This site is built for that, and somebody acting alone is the pattern every bad story starts with.
• Meet in a public place, and let somebody know where you are going and when.
• Never send money. Not for a ticket, an emergency, a visa, or a business. This is the most common fraud on every matrimony platform in India, and it always begins as a story that makes sense.
• Be slow to move to WhatsApp. Once you leave, we cannot see the messages if you later need us to act.
• If somebody pressures you to hurry, hide the conversation from your family, or asks for photographs you are not comfortable sending — that is the whole signal. Stop there.
