Refund and cancellation

What Gold costs, what it buys, and what happens if you cancel.

What you are paying for

Gold is a subscription that widens what your account can do — more interests sent, seeing who has viewed you, and the marks that show others you are a paying member. It does not buy anybody's attention, photographs, or phone number: those stay governed entirely by the other person's own choices, whatever you pay. See the Gold page for the current price. The price shown there is final — no charge on top of it is added at checkout.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not end the period you have already paid for early. You keep Gold until that period runs out, and your account then returns to the Silver tier rather than being suspended.

Refunds

Once a payment has gone through, it is not refunded for a change of mind. Two situations are the exception:

You were charged twice for the same period, by a fault on our side or the payment gateway's.
A technical fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for, for a meaningful stretch of the period, and support could not fix it.

Write to us from Settings with what happened. A genuine refund is returned to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of being approved — we do not hold it as site credit instead unless you ask for that.

If your account is suspended

A suspension for breaking the rules does not entitle you to a refund for time remaining on a subscription you were paying for when it happened.

Grievance Officer

If something here has gone wrong and support has not resolved it, this is who to write to. Required to be named under the IT Rules 2021, the DPDP Act 2023 and the E-Commerce Rules 2020.
