Privacy
What we hold, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.
What we hold
- Your phone number
- It is how you sign in. It is never shown to another member unless you switch that on yourself.
- Your email address
- For receipts and account notices. Never shown to another member, ever.
- Everything on your profile
- Shown to other members according to the rules below — never sold, and never handed to an advertiser.
- Your photographs and video
- Stored privately. Links to them are signed and expire within minutes, so a copied link stops working.
- Your messages
- Stored so that you and the other person can read them. We do not read them, and nothing in the product does.
- Payment records
- What you bought and when. Card details never reach us — the payment provider holds those.
Who can see it
- Members you have not accepted see your first name and an initial, your age, height, city, and what you have written about yourself.
- Your photographs are hidden until you share them, person by person. You can stop at any time.
- Your phone number is hidden unless you switch it on, and nobody can pay to see it.
- Moderators see what they need to decide a report or a verification, and every decision they make is recorded with a reason.
What we never do
We do not sell your details. We do not hand them to advertisers. We do not show your phone number or email to another member unless you chose to. We do not read your conversations.
Leaving
You can pause your profile at any time, which takes you out of search while keeping everything. Or you can ask to leave, and your profile, photographs and messages are erased. Signing in before the date stops it — people change their minds, and an account deleted in an argument should not be gone forever.
A few records survive erasure because the law or a dispute requires it: a payment receipt, and the record of a moderation decision that involved somebody else. Those hold no more than they must.
Your rights
- See everything you have told us — every screen in the Me tab shows you exactly what is stored, in the same words you typed it in.
- Correct anything, any time, from the same screen you typed it on originally — nothing here requires writing to us first.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to erase it. Write to us from Settings and we act within the timelines in Reporting and takedowns.
- Withdraw a consent you gave — for example, turning off marketing messages — as easily as you gave it, from Settings.
Photographs and documents
A photograph is hidden by default and shown only to the people you choose — everyone, verified subscribers, on request one person at a time, or nobody until you have matched. Changing your mind hides it again immediately, for everybody it was previously shown to. A document you upload for verification (an ID, or your own biodata sheet) is used only to check what it is for and is never shown to another member without your separate say-so.
Where your information is kept
On servers located in India. We do not transfer your personal data outside India for processing.
How we use cookies
A short list, on its own page. No advertising, ever. One page-view count that only runs once you say yes to it, and nothing else.
This page describes what the system does today, in plain words. It is not a substitute for a formal privacy notice under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, which will be published before the site opens to the public.
Grievance Officer
If something here has gone wrong and support has not resolved it, this is who to write to. Required to be named under the IT Rules 2021, the DPDP Act 2023 and the E-Commerce Rules 2020.
- Name
- ⟨Grievance Officer's name⟩
- Designation
- ⟨their designation⟩
- ⟨their email⟩
- Phone
- ⟨their phone number⟩
- Address
- ⟨their address for service⟩
The company details on this page (name, address, GST number, the Grievance Officer) are placeholders. They must be filled in with the real facts, and this whole page reviewed by a qualified lawyer, before the site takes a real member.
