Community guidelines
What is not allowed here, said plainly.
A profile that is not really you
Your own name, your own face, your own facts. A profile made to look like somebody else, or to hide that you are already married, is removed the moment it is found — no warning.
A photograph that is not appropriate for this platform
This is a nikah platform, not a dating app. Photographs should show your face clearly, as you would want a prospective family to see it — nothing intimate, and nothing of anybody who has not agreed to appear.
Asking for money, in any form
Never through a message on this site, ever. A member who asks another for money — for a ticket, an emergency, a visa, a gift — is removed and reported.
Harassment, threats, or abuse
Including after a conversation has ended. Blocking and reporting exist because this happens, and both are one tap (see Staying safe).
Sharing what somebody has not agreed to share
A screenshot of a private conversation, a forwarded photograph, a phone number passed to a third person. What is shared here is shared with the person you are speaking to, not with anybody they know.
Contacting a family outside the platform without consent
If a conversation has not opened here, you do not have permission to reach that family by another route — a phone number found elsewhere, a mutual relative, a message to a sibling.
What happens when a rule is broken
A moderator reviews it and has to record what they decided and why. You are told what happened to your account and you can appeal — read Reporting and takedowns for the timelines we hold ourselves to.
